Tinalak or T'nalak Festival is a day of festivity to commemorate the foundation anniversary of South Cotabato. This is celebrated every month of July in the provincial capital of Koronadal City.The festival is named after t'nalak, a colorful abaca cloth created and woven by the women of the province's T'boli tribe. The cloth is chosen as the festival icon as it is considered to symbolize the blending of culture, strength and unity of the various ethnic groups living in the province.

Dinagyang Festival of Ilo-ilo City
The Dinagyang is a religious and cultural festival in Iloilo City, Philippines held on the fourth Sunday of January, or right after the Sinulog In Cebu and the Ati-Atihan in Aklan. It is held both to honor the Santo Niño and to celebrate the arrival on Panay of Malay settlers and the subsequent selling of the island to them by the Atis.
Panagbenga Festival Of Baguio City
Panagbenga Festival is a month-long annual flower festival occurring in Baguio, the summer capital of thePhilippines. The term is of Malayo-Polynesian origin, meaning "season of blooming". The festival, held during the month of February, was created as a tribute to the city's flowers and as a way to rise up from the devastation of the 1990 Luzon earthquake. The festival includes floats that are covered mostly with flowers not unlike those used in Pasadena's Rose Parade. The festival also includes street dancing, presented by dancers clad in flower-inspired costumes, that is inspired by the Bendian, an Ibaloi dance of celebration that came from the Cordillera region.

Sinulog Festival of Cebu City
The Sinulog Festival is an annual cultural and religious festival held on the third Sunday of January in Cebu City, and is the center of the Santo Niño celebration in the Philippines. The Sinulog commemorates the Filipino people's acceptance of Christianity , and their rejection of their former animist beliefs. The first of these conversions happened in 1521 on the island of Cebu, when Rajah Humabon and his queen Amihan (Humamay) were baptised along with their subjects, becoming Carlos and Juana of Cebu.
Kalilangan Festival of General Santos City
Each year, General Santos City marks its foundation anniversary on February 27 with various activities culminating the week long celebration of Kalilangan Festival. The anniversary celebration commemorates the landing of the city's founder, General Paulino Santos, along with the first settlers from Luzon, at the shores of Sarangani Bay.
Masskara Festival of Bacolod City
The Masskara Festival is a festival held each year in Bacolod,Philippines, every third weekend of October nearest October 19, the city's Charter anniversary.The festival first began in 1980 during a period of crisis. The province relied on sugar cane as its primary agricultural crop, and the price of sugar was at an all-time low due to the introduction of sugar substitutes like high fructose (corn syrup) in the United States. This was the first Masskara Festival and a time of tragedy; on April 22 of that year, the inter-island vessel MV Don Juan carrying many Negrenses, including those belonging to prominent families in Bacolod City, collided with the tanker Tacloban City and sank. An estimated 700 lives were lost in the tragedy.In the midst of these tragic events, the city's artists, local government and civic groups decided to hold a festival of smiles, because the city at that time was also known as the City of Smiles.
